Gabi was addicted to poker machine gambling for more than 4 years. Besides losing more than $40,000 gambling, she lost many friends, two jobs and nearly ruined her marriage. She even contemplated suicide as the only way out. She overcame this and developed the Free Yourself program.

Gabi founded an organisation called Chrysalis Insight Inc. and opened Chrysalis Gallery, a problem-gambling resource centre.

Gabriela's story from being "totally-hooked" to "complete freedom" and her courageous attempt to fight the gaming industry with the ground-breaking Chrysalis Concept has been featured on TV, radio and magazines.
